By Train
Take the train to Gualdo Tadino. The house is about 2 km. (1.2 miles) from the station, from where you can take the bus, which runs about every hour, or take a taxi, which needs to be ordered in advance.
* From Perugia: 1 1/4 - 2 hours (train goes to Foligno first). Take the shuttle from
Sant'Egidio Airport to the Perugia train station. (There is also a bus from Perugia to Gualdo which takes less time than the train and delivers you closer to the town center.)
* From Rome: 3 1/4 - 3 1/2 hours from airports
* From Florence: 3 1/2 - 5 hours (depending on the train)
* From Milan: 5 - 7 1/2 hours (depending on the train)

Please note, however, that tickets for Gualdo Tadino cannot be purchased from this source more than a week in advance of travel. However, this is not usually a problem. Tickets can also be bought at the train station the day of travel. In order to check the schedule far in advance, enter a date in the next week.
Please note that no buses run in Gualdo Tadino on Sundays, but the (one!) taxi driver in Gualdo can be booked in advance. Please inform us of your plans to travel by train when you book.
